Keeping your guests safe
The purpose of this guidance is to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable celebration and keep yourself and your guests safe and reduce the spread of coronavirus.
This guidance will be updated once the National Lockdown has ended and weddings are able to resume
  • From 2nd December 2020, Bath has been categorised Tier 2, which means 15 people may attend your ceremony/ reception including the wedding couple and guest, as well as children.
  • Anyone working, for example the two registrars, florist, caterer, photographers, videographers and musicians if attending do not count as part of the 15
  • Please ask your guests to wash their hands upon arrival and throughout their visit, using the facilities onsite
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided and guests should use this regularly
  • There is a Test & Trace QR code available at the venue, where you can check in using the NHS app
  • The ceremony chairs will be set up in households at a 2 meter distance from other households
  • All wedding guests will be required by law to wear face coverings unless they are exempt
  • The Wedding Couple can choose whether or not to wear a face covering
  • Visors will be worn by both registrars except when conducting the ceremony
  • Rings should be placed, in a box if possible, on the registrars table
  • One reading is allowed but the reader must stay at their seat
  • Socially distanced indoor and outdoor entertainment or musical performances, with strict social distancing arrangements in place, can take place in line with the guidance on performing arts
  • Musicians are required to wear face coverings when they are not performing
  • Locating musicians outdoors is preferred and I have several gazebo options for shelter
  • Those walking down the aisle must socially distance unless they are from the same household
  • If the couple choose to walk down the aisle together they do not need to socially distance
  • Photographers must remain in their seat and cannot move around the room
  • If the photographer is outside there may be a possibility for them to move more freely providing it is safe to do so
  • Receptions and celebrations after your ceremony must be a sit-down meal
  • Seating arrangements should follow social distancing guidelines
  • Guests with symptoms of coronavirus should not attend
  • Individuals who are shielding should continue to follow the government’s advice on shielding
  • Individuals who are considered in the high risk category, including those over 70 are advised to stay home
  • Guests should avoid touching property belonging to others
  • People from different households should maintain social distance between one and other for the duration of their visit
  • All guests attending should be signposted to the current stay alert and social distance guidance
  • The wedding couple should keep a list of their guests with contact numbers for 21 days following their visit, to supply if requested by the venue manager
  • You are welcome to use phones/video equipment to record/live stream your ceremony using 4G (sorry there is no wifi)
If you have any questions I am always happy to chat, best wishes Jess

Despite delays and uncertainty due to COVID-19, we could still have a very special wedding day due to the kindness, flexibility, and professionalism of Heritage Park Weddings.

At every stage of the process we felt confident that we had made the right choice of venue.

Thank you for giving us a fantastic day we’ll never forget!
