Keeping your guests safe
  • From Monday 7th March 2022 our limit on capacity inside the Temple of Minerva will be lifted and we will be working at full capacity - 35 guests inside the building

  • Any additional guests will be seated on the Terrace

  • On 1st July 2021 a temporary law came into force, previously the wedding couple, registrars and witnesses had to be under the roof of the licence premise to ensure the ceremony was legal – this has now changed until April 2022

  • There is currently a consultation taking place, therefore there is a possibility that this law change may become permanent, which would mean you could marry completely outdoors if you wish! We'll ensure to keep you updated on this via our newsletter! If this is something you’re interested in please get in touch

  • Where visitor's wish to wear face coverings, this is encouraged

  • Visors or face coverings may be worn by the registrars except when conducting the ceremony

  • The number of readings that can take place during your ceremony is 3. For those who are doing a reading, it is good practice to check in advance what their feelings are regarding being in close proximity and to potentially facing guests who may not be wearing a face covering – to enable them to keep safe the reading could take place standing at their seat

  • The rings can now be brought up to the couple or up to the table as the wedding couple wish

  • Hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser will be provided and guests should use this regularly

  • Your photographer can move around but we request that they do not come within 2m of registration staff, staff will endeavour to accommodate to ensure you can have all the photos you wish which may require registrars to move to a different position

  • We encourage the use of the NHS COVID19 app - Using the NHS COVID-19 app helps stop the spread of the virus by informing you that you have been in close contact with someone who has since tested positive for coronavirus, even if you don’t know each other. The app is free and easy to use. The app also allows people to report symptoms, order a coronavirus test and check in to venues using a QR code. To help protect yourself and others, download and use the latest version of the NHS COVID-19 app.

  • We will continue to display our NHS QR code for attendees wishing to check in using the app

  • If someone has been instructed by NHS Test and Trace to self-isolate because they have tested positive for COVID-19, or they’re the close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they must still self-isolate and not attend.

  • We encourage guests to test before attending and if a positive result is received to follow the isolation steps. Around 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 do not have any symptoms. Testing twice a week increases the chances of detecting COVID-19 when a person is infectious - helping to make sure you don’t spread COVID-19.  - Find out more about how to get rapid lateral flow tests.

  • You are welcome to use phones/video equipment to record/live stream your ceremony using 4G (sorry there is no wifi)

  • You can find the full government guidance on how to keep yourself and others safe here:  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do#keeping-yourself-and-others-safe

If you have any questions I am always more than happy to chat :)

Best wishes

Jenny

Despite delays and uncertainty due to COVID-19, we could still have a very special wedding day due to the kindness, flexibility, and professionalism of Heritage Park Weddings.

At every stage of the process we felt confident that we had made the right choice of venue.

Thank you for giving us a fantastic day we’ll never forget!
